Feedback session @ Npuls & SURF

In September, several meetings were held to present our new work and explore how the visual language can be applied in practice. We'll share the reports here. During a hybrid session (in Dutch) on 16 September led by Evelien Renders and Liona de Graaf, together with colleagues from Npuls and SURF, it became clear that the visual language already provides valuable insights into the complexity of the educational ecosystem. The visual language helps to initiate discussions about digitalization, focusing not just on individual elements but on the entire ecosystem.

How visual language contributes to discussions on educational innovation

During this session, an interesting question arose: how can the visual language help in envisioning a broader perspective on educational innovation? One piece of advice we received was not to attempt to fully elaborate on all possible use cases, given the wide diversity in education. Instead, it was recommended to develop a few ‘undisputed’ concrete examples and incorporate them into the visual language.

Additionally, the idea was suggested to establish a consultation service where education professionals can receive advice on how to apply the visual language in their own context. This service could be offered in the form of office hours or a consultation session. Valuable input that we will be working on in the coming period!
